1. ABOUT FEEYODA

FeeYoda is a digital platform designed to facilitate campus shuttle fare payments between users and transport operators.

FeeYoda Technologies Ltd is a technology provider, not a bank or independent financial payment processor.

Financial transaction services and statutory virtual account creation are facilitated through licensed third-party payment infrastructure providers.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

A. Account Registration Information

When you register for an account, we collect:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Username
  • Email Address
  • Password

B. Identity Verification (KYC) Information

To enable wallet features such as funding, users must complete profile verification.

We collect:

  • First Name and Last Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Phone Number
  • National Identification Number (NIN) — an 11-digit national identity number issued in Nigeria.

C. Transaction Records

When you complete payments on the platform, we maintain records of the transaction, including:

  • Amount paid
  • Date and timestamp
  • Payment status and reference numbers
  • Sender and recipient identifiers

3. PERMISSIONS AND AUTOMATIC DATA COLLECTION

FeeYoda does not collect or request special device permissions such as precise GPS location, contacts, media/photos, camera, microphone, call logs, SMS access, or advertising identifiers.

4. USE OF INFORMATION

We use your information strictly to operate and secure the platform, including:

  • Managing your account and maintaining your wallet balance.
  • Processing fare transfers to operators.
  • Generating digital receipts as proof of payment.
  • Transmitting required identity data (including NIN) to our payment infrastructure provider to generate statutory virtual accounts for wallet funding.
  • Preventing fraud and maintaining platform integrity.

5. THIRD-PARTY INFRASTRUCTURE PROVIDERS

FeeYoda integrates with Flutterwave to provide payment infrastructure, including statutory virtual accounts for wallet funding and payout processing. Your identity information (including NIN) is processed by Flutterwave in accordance with their regulatory duties and privacy policies. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data to third parties for advertising or marketing.

6. DATA SECURITY AND STORAGE

We employ industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. Sensitive identity data, such as your full NIN, is not stored unencrypted on your device.

7. DATA RETENTION AND ACCOUNT DELETION

We retain your data for as long as your account remains active or as required by applicable laws in Nigeria to fulfill audit and regulatory compliance requirements.
